7,9%: Desemprego na zona euro em Maio deste ano, quase um ponto percentual abaixo dos 8,7% registados em Maio de 2005, e menos uma décima em relação ao mês anterior. Na União a 25, a percentagem de desempregados ficou nos 8,2%, à semelhança de Abril. Há um ano, o valor situava-se nos 8,8%.
